A winter dream

I went for a walk with a good friend in the park, a nice park in the region she lives. With her leading the way, we entered a spacious urban greenbelt enveloped the houses. She told me that a small house nestled among the trees once stood here. She used to take a walk and sit in silence for a while as she needs staying alone. One day when she came here again, she was surprised at finding the house turned a cleared space.

There was a sign written all over her face when she looked up the trees, letting the past wash over her. I think I understand her feeling. Within moments, some scenes that had become so familiar would be gone.

I took the trees planted on the space, for memory has painted this sweet day.

Wish you a bright future

Shibuya is such a place, where many young guys are dreaming of their future. Among these people perhaps someone will be skateboarder as a professional player, someone will be one of the country's top models, or a dancers.. anyway, they are keeping the dream in their hearts and walk on their own ways to achieve it.

One fine day, I came to miyashita Park, a girl in white shirts and black skirt with her back dotting into the winter sun was etched against in my memory. She was just walking up and down repeatedly,so quiet that her presence was hardly noticed. She looks like a fashion model. I really appreciated her complete absorption in her actions.

I'm not sure if I do have any opportunity to see her brilliant victory either on the stage, but I hope I could never forget the primary focus of me as she as, however, feel in the heart and love my feeling at the moment.

Exhibition #Hear the wind

“Photography is the story I fail to put into words.” — Destin Sparks.
This is my third solo exhibition. And it different from the previous two is that the objects are some trees, leaves and sights extensively seen everywhere. Though the popular works mostly have a very majestic theme, it's getting more hard to reach or approach a mutual understanding-based relationship. This time I tried to feel what I'm looking at in some scenic sites, and interpreted them by my own.

Winter came on.

When mountains warmed by a sunset color, the water has got colder. The days grow shorter as winter approaches. I don't like winter, but it came on.

This time, I stood on the other side

I remembered my first solo exhibition two years ago. At that time, I didn't know what kind of colors could describe my fear of the dark. After all I chose the blue. Blue tone makes me feel little terrible. I watched those blue, overlooking the endless darkness.

The time passed quickly. How many times do I stand here? I conclusive thought that I had seeing you.  So in this night, I stood on the other side and I saw what remains unchanged is the light shining in the sky.

Yes,it may won't matter what you owned or what you were owed. I see.

say "Good Night"

This is a pretty quiet and beautiful city which a large river runs through. Around the surrounding hills, the river pass the center of the city, disappear in the mountains beyond.

I stood in the city's ancient walls and took a long look at the sunset, to say good night.

Hanabi at Kaibama

What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step. It is always the same step, but you have to take it.

-- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

It is said, in Japan, August is the season for the dead. Japanese hold some memorial services like Bon Odori(dance), Hanabi(fire works) to remember their ancestors and pray for the repose of people who were killed by the calamity.

Yesterday I visited Kaibama, a beach of city Fukushima which was hit by tsunami happend in the Tohoku earthquake in year 2011. The Kaibama Hanabi was not so large but it represented by a sincere message of condolence to the over 2000 dead souls.

Hope the souls flying in the air will find their rest.
